Full Job Description

ABC Teachers are recruiting for a teacher based in Shrewsbury with Key Stage 2 experience to teach a Year 5 class from the beginning of September 2024.

The role  
This role includes the following:

• To commence from September 2024 and last until the end of the first half term (has a possibility to extend until the end of the term).
• Working as a full class teacher contributing to lesson planning and delivering.
• As well as leading the class and support staff in the room.

A two form entry village school based in Shrewsbury, this is a good Ofsted rated school, a part of a larger academy trust.

Requirements  
To be considered for the Year 5 Teacher position, you will: 

• Be required to plan and deliver lessons to an upper key stage 2 class at a high level.
• As well as inspire and motivate children at the most crucial stage of Key stage 2.
• Can interact well with children of an older age group.
• Need a relevant QTS (valid from September 2024), working in a primary school environment, this is a compulsory part of registration.
• Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
• Be able to gain relevant references from placement school and university.
