Teaching Assistant – Merthyr Tydfil

The role as a teaching assistant would involve supporting children across Key stage 1 and 2. You would need to have excellent communication skills and be a passionate individual who can help the children engage with their learning.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher with classroom management
- Helping to prepare the classroom for the day’s lessons.
- Work on a 1:1 or small group basis to help support the children’s learning.
- General administrative duties
- Work as part of a dynamic and contribute towards the school’s ethos and culture.
What we are looking for:
- An enthusiastic and dedicated individual who has a passion for working with children.
- Good general standard of education.
- IT proficient
- Someone who is not afraid to get stuck in and can provide the best experience to the children’s education.
