My client is actively looking for a Principal Consultant (Strategic
Sustainable Transport Projects) to join their team on a permanent
basis. The successful candidate will be based in the Wakefield office
and will have the ability to work from home on a regular basis.
Working hours are 37.5 hours per week and part time will be
considered. Salary will be dependent on experience.

right candidate to join the Strategic Sustainable Transport Projects
team.
The Role
To support the existing and future
workload the team are currently seeking to make a senior appointment
who can take a lead role in growing the client base and manage
projects from inception to completion. Targeting and working with
clients in the Higher Education, NHS and private sectors, you will
help to deliver and manage large scale sustainable transport projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
The ideal candidate
will have extensive experience of working with (or within) large
organisations to develop strategies aimed at addressing the varied
range of transport related challenges. This could typically include
commuter/business sustainable transport strategies, car park
management strategies, public transport strategies and carbon
assessment/reporting.
You will have an ability to work closely
with key stakeholders to identify the nature of the challenges faced,
and to translate this understanding into bespoke solution focused
strategies. You will have a responsibility for the full project life
cycle, from business development to project management and delivery.
In your role you will work with and be supported by our specialist
team, with opportunities to line manage more junior team members
available. The successful candidate will be supported, mentored, and
provided with opportunities to progress as part of the TPS Team. We
