Full Job Description

An esteemed company specializing in cutting-edge ultra-high-definition display technology is offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to their innovative rasterizer and analysis solutions. These solutions are capable of generating and inspecting video signals in real-time, reaching speeds of up to 100Gbps. The company focuses on developing technology for both emerging and established broadcast solutions, working with IP and SDI standards to empower customers in delivering high-quality 4K, High-Dynamic-Range (HDR), and High-Frame-Rate content. Globally recognized, our solutions are utilized by major broadcasters, Outside Broadcast (OB) trucks, electronics manufacturers, and video production environments.


Involved in the entire software stack lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment, covering aspects such as design reviews, adherence to coding standards, conducting code reviews, managing source control, implementing CI pipelines, optimizing build processes, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring smooth operations. This role also entails staying abreast of emerging broadcast technologies and leveraging them to develop solutions on the latest embedded-compute platforms. Technologies utilized include Qt, Linux, C++, Yocto, ARM, and FPGAs, spanning from high-level software to bespoke Linux device drivers interfacing with custom hardware.

The skills they are looking for include;

  • Embedded C development
  • C++ (min.11) development
  • Driver development
  • Embedded Linux/ Linux configuration
  • Python is also beneficial.

The client are looking to engage on a high pay permanent basis and can offer full remote working (occasional site visits can be made an option to pick up/ drop off hardware as appropriate).
