Full Job Description

Immediate start, Hours of work:

Your hours of work will be Monday to Friday, working 8.00am till 5.00pm (or 8.30 – 5.30) or (7.30 – 4.30) with one-hour unpaid lunch break.

Holidays: 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.

You will be auto enrolled in to the Company Pension Scheme.

Death in Service Benefit’ – this is twice your annual salary whilst employed at OPM.

What we are looking for:

Reporting to the Commercial Director, this is a fast-paced and rewarding role that will require the successful candidate to work in harmony with the Sales Team and Customers.

Utilising your Print / Packaging / Artwork experience and critically your outgoing personality, excellent communication skills and talent for Client engagement to deliver outstanding service to an impressive array of Clients in a variety of sectors.

Job duties and skills will include:

·       Support the external Sales Team to ensure OPM customers receive world-class customer service

·       Act as a focal point for communication between customers and other internal departments both in person and by telephone/email

·       Demonstrate excellent Customer Service skills in both telephone and face-to-face interactions

·       Have good all-round administration skills

·       Attend internal, external and Teams meetings as required

·       Take briefs from colleagues and clients

·       Requesting and obtaining price information from the Estimating Department and confirming prices to Customers (Estimating knowledge would be advantageous)

·       Identify cost or process improvement opportunities

·       Negotiate and proactively managing any potential account issues

·       Process and raise orders to include progress-chasing (Experience of Tharstern MIS would be advantageous – but training will be given)

·       Review daily schedule and monitor jobs throughout the production cycle, maintaining knowledge of every job and its current status and keeping clients updated of progress

·       Work well under pressure, with proven efficiency and the ability to work to production deadlines

·       Have the flexibility to adapt to OPM’s and customers' changing needs

·       Demonstrate effective communication skills with the ability to adapt to a diverse range of needs and capabilities

·       Work well as part of a team

·      Have the ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently

·      Have a positive attitude to achieving deadlines within demanding time frames

·       Be a problem solver who looks for solutions using imitative

·       Be willing to undertake training and development when required.

·       Packaging industry experience/exposure would be beneficial – (But training can be given)

·       Ideally a Solid technical understanding of printed labels and flexible packaging – (But training can be given)

·  High level of attention to detail.

·       Excellent time management and communications skills
