We have been instructed by a top-tier US law firm in London who have a strong roster of private equity clients. They are looking for a private equity M&A lawyer with 2-4 years' PQE.
Experience of advising private equity clients on sophisticated M&A transactions is essential for this role but, importantly, lawyers who are currently advising on mid-market transactions are welcome to apply. This could be an opportunity for such a lawyer to obtain a big uplift in salary and access to bulge bracket PE firms.
The team is quite large with 5-10 partners and 20+ associates. They have a flat structure and lawyers are encouraged to take on high levels of responsibility.
