Process Engineer
Preston - Hybrid Working
*Candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance*
We are currently seeking a Process Engineer on a Permanent basis, to join our client's growing digital engineering team.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop, deploy, and evolve the model-based systems engineering methodology, processes, technology and people required to deliver the programme across the international partners.
- Exploring, developing, testing, and deploying engineering tools, methods and processes and training to enable improvements in engineering performance
- Co-designing and delivering the product development solution (processes, methods, tools, technology, people, data) alongside software vendor partners.
- Executing proof-of-concept and proof-of-value demonstrations - providing confidence that the new product development approach meets the time and cost goals
- Contributing to business change, including communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, building coalitions, and creating urgency
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Understanding of model based systems engineering process and tools
- Understanding of the systems development lifecycle (EG IEEE 15288)
- Be comfortable working with ambiguity, challenging established thinking, innovating, creating new ways of working and leading change
- Experience of Concept Design through to Integration and Test (Highly Desirable)
