Process Engineer

Full Job Description

CK Group are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a manufacturing company that provides products to the agricultural industry at their site based in Saltburn on a contract basis.

The main purpose of your role will be to:

• Support the implementation of new equipment & methods & provide advice where necessary
• To participate in research and development projects from conception to implementation
• To provide guidance to shift managers and operators on process and product quality related aspects of operations
• Use of Lean six sigma tools for continuous process improvements.

• Identify, assess, install & calibrate process monitoring equipment
• Support calibration maintenance of process monitoring equipment
• Manage collection & collation of plant performance data on a daily basis to support monthly accounting figures

You are required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Degree in Chemical / Mineral Engineering or related engineering background
• Member of IOM3 or IChemE or potential to become a member
• Lean / 6 Sigma knowledge and experience
