Process / Proposal Engineer

Full Job Description

My client a market leader is involved in the design & manufacture of Heat exchangers, Thermal equipment, WRUs, OTSGs for industries including: Oil & gas, Engineering Hydogen. They have an exciting opportunity for a Process / Proposal Engineer on a permanent basis.

The role: - Preparation of key documents including technical reports and commercial proposals, equipment datasheet and specifications, P&IDs, GA drawings etc.

- Provision of formal process calculations and definition of instrument, control and safeguarding functions

- Provide process engineering support to contracts/engineering and projects department Preparing and providing project cost estimation spreadsheets for commercial evaluation

- Ensuring the technical integrity of quotations for main equipment and auxillaries for cost estimation purposes

- Liaise with clients and sub-vendors before and after submission of tenders

- Liaise with other departments (cost engineering and sales department) in the compilation of proposals and acquisition of equipment
