Join a team responsible for growing revenues through effective multi-channel market engagement, proactive product development, delivering innovative new services, focused sales activity, and responsive client service.

Our Market Development department is responsible for developing and implementing the commercial and strategic vision, liaising with key stakeholders both internally (within LME, LME Clear and the Hong Kong Exchange) and externally (existing and prospective members, clients and service providers).

Joining as an Associate you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting our Head of Product Development & Innovation in projects that contribute to business strategy
  • Liaising with the wider team to support prioritisation of initiatives (projects, market structure measures, service enhancements etc) across the LME Group
  • Ensuring new business opportunities identified are correctly integrated into the business and assisting in developing robust business case materials to support assessment and approval
  • Supporting projects across the product / service development portfolio from conception to launch, including:
    • Drafting the business case and articulating the business requirements
    • Identifying and liaising with the right resources in the business to work on the project
    • Working closely with internal stakeholders and external parties
    • Be a subject matter expert on specific topics
  • Working closely with Sustainability / CEO Office and other internal teams

You will bring a demonstrable interest in the metals industry (either from previous experience or academic record), an ability to engage with senior stakeholders and strong commercial awareness.
