Source Solutions are proud to be working with a highly successful and continually growing global manufacturer within the electronics space, who operate cutting edge technology within a fascinating environment and a culture of continuous improvement, in identifying a committed and collaboratively-minded Product Manager for one of their fastest-growing verticals.

This role will see the successful candidate manage complete engineering and project lifecycles from concept, right through development and launch, to obsolescence The Product Manager will collaborate throughout with cross-functional teams including Product Design, Marketing, and Sales, in order to drive successful product development, providing input on strategy, utilising technical and market information.

This is a key lynchpin position and requires someone who can combine engineering/technical knowledge and experience, with commercial awareness, project lifecycle experience and an ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders and clients. Good communication skills are absolutely essential.

Other duties will include:

• Assisting with quotations and pricing activities and conducting market research – to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
• Co-ordinating of test programmes to improve and develop product
• Use of data to Inform and drive decision making, relaying to relevant teams and counterparts
• Visiting customers and suppliers to improve product and service whilst building relationships and assessing future product opportunities.

Candidate requirements:

• Proven experience in a product management position or a role that encompasses full-lifecycle product management
• Strong project management skills, highly diligent with excellent organisation skills
• Degree or similar qualification in a technical field
• Ideally some experience or an understanding of electronics and/or electronics market – not essential but advantageous
• Ability to understand client requirements and translate into the product development process
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships
