When you join as a Product Owner in Seating Systems, you will be joining an energetic team that drives towards JLR’s vision to be the benchmark for quality in the luxury sector.

You will spearhead the development and delivery of our Seating System Product, leveraging cutting-edge System Engineering Methods and Tools. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of functional systems artifacts, meticulously aligned with program requirements and Network release milestones.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and translate their needs into actionable directives for our team, guaranteeing product quality and on-time delivery. You will make data-driven decisions and prioritize work for the squad, creating a concise plan for sprints and quarters.

In this role, you will also:

  • Support squad members, technical specialists and subject matter experts through knowledge sharing.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities.

 

Key accountabilities and responsibilities 

You will provide technical expertise in complex systems and tools and processes. E.g. Logical Architecture Diagram (LAD), Functional System Requirements Document (FSRD), Functional Failure Analysis (FFA), Requirements cascade, Requirements tools, Systems application onto programmes, Systems Test cases and test planning.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Essential:

  • Experienced in delivering Systems Engineering projects.

  • Technical knowledge of Systems Engineering, V-Model, Systems Integration, Systems Architecture, and Requirements management.

  • Requirements Management (RM) knowledge
