Product Support Engineer - Medical Device - Oxfordshire - Permanent

Our client is a leadingMedical Device manufactuer developing state of the art technology that helps to save lives. At present they are seeking a Product Support Engineer based out of their site in Oxford to join them on a permanent basis.

• The Product Support Engineer will be responsible forcomplex electro-mechanical medical devices. Providing technical support to customers in Hospitals and Research Facilities in Europe. You will report out of the workshop in Oxford and will travel within the UK and Europe to support client sites

  You will be responsible for carrying out on-site service, repairs, maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, calibration, software/hardware upgrades and more. As well as completing all relevant documentation and ensure product reliability, quality and availability is maintained.

  To be considered for the Product Support Engineer role you will have:

  • HND or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
  • Industry experience servicing, repairing, and testing medical or other complex critical devices.
  • Hands-on experience with a broad range of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, analyzers, and data loggers.
  • Happy to travel in Europe to carry out servicing or other device maintenance activities as required.
  • Must live in commutable distance to Oxford and happy to travel to Oxford when not in Europe.
  • UK/EU drivers licence & valid passport.
  • Ability to speak a European language would be a bonus.
