Product owner (Blockchain)

Full Job Description

A Fintech start-up that is leading the blockchain revolution are looking to hire an Product Owner/Senior Business Analyst to join the talented Product team and drive best Agile & Lean practice.

The product team is responsible for defining customer propositions, owning product requirements and understand the market needs (including quick change)

You'll work with small, close-knit, multi-disciplined team who are involved not just in software development but also in refining the details of products and features within the blockchain world. In addition to collaborative work with the remaining PO team to report directly to the CPO.

Responsibilities

Backlog ownership: Work with the development team as Product Owner

Product Vision: Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team, other stakeholders and creating/managing requirements

Prioritisation: Plan and prioritise the product feature backlog and development for the product

Flow: Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of tasks to work on

Planning: Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories

Expertise: Gain and maintain a deep understanding of blockchain-enabled business processes providing focus and prioritisation to product development processes

Product Management: Contribute to product strategy, proposition development, prioritisation and release planning

Requirements


Experience

A minimum of 4 years within a Product Owner role/responsibilities focusing on Back End

Ideal background/career progression from Business Analyst

Experience with SaaS/API Product development

Excellent Knowledge of Agile/Scrum processes and principles communication

Experience with backlog management tools ie Jira, Shortcut, Pivotal Tracker

Experience with SaaS product management tools ie Craft.iom Aha.io, Product plan
