Our client, a world leading manufacturer of precision measurement technologies, are seeking adetail-oriented and organised Production Co-ordinator to join their team on an initial 3 Month Fixed-Term contract .
Working closely with the Production Manager the Production Co-ordinator will be responsible for; overseeing the production process, coordinating with various departments to ensureproduction goals are met and orders are completed efficiently meeting customers' required delivery dates.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and scheduling work orders, without exceeding available capacity, to ensure on-time delivery (OTD)
- Distributing workload between resources to ensure maximum capacity, flexibility and response time.
- Liaising with Purchasing Department to ensure component deliveries are on track.
- Communicating effectivelywith departments business wide, including Sales, to ensure customer demands are met.
- Maintaining quality in line with respective Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and adhere to the Health and Safety policy of the business.
This is a key role, and they are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, efficient, and has Production Planning experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment. You will also have:
- Demonstrable experience of Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and the use of a Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
- Strong IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft D365 preferable
- Exceptional organisational, prioritisation and time management skills and the ability to manage workload.
Based from their HQ on the outskirts of Sevenoaks, hours of work are 7.30am-4pm Monday-Thursday and 7.30-12.30 Friday, 37 hours a week. Paid overtime is available where needed to meet workload demands.
