Full Job Description

Our client specializes in manufacturing different gearing systems, in this position you will work as part of a team to produce precision spec components for clients in the aerospace and automotive industry, working alongside different departments to support production flow throughout the unit.

Responsibilities:

Responsible to set up and perform necessary lapping ops on inside and/or outside diameters of various precision parts using various measuring equipment;

Provide assistance to all areas in the team when required (including lapping, polishing,
straightening, deburring, part marking and cleaning of components)
Cleaning of components prior to inspection;
Ensure machines are operated according to site and manufacturer’s recommendations;
Meet desired quantities, conducting in-process inspection and checking against drawings and specifications to ensure they are made accurately and to the highest standards;
Work in accordance to the quality system and processes of the company;

Skills and Qualifications/experience:

Experience in engineering and working in a similar field/industry would be beneficial. (Training will be given)
The ability to use a range of measuring equipment.
To be a quick learner and adaptable to change.
Be proactive and a great team player.
Have excellent attention to detail.
Be able to work effectively and efficiently to meet target deadlines.
