Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.

PURPOSE

Due to business growth we are currently recruiting for an M&E Site Supervisor who will work closely with our manufacturing teams with the successful delivery of our wide range of standard and bespoke manufactured package plant.

Whether you are mechanically or electrically biased or competent in both, we will consider all applications. Training can be provided in your opposite field. Will need to be willing to assist with both mechanical and electrical installations.  

The Role

Contracted to 40hrs per week, 8 hours on site Monday to Friday.

You will be paid both your over time and travel time to site (door to door) at your standard hourly rate.

Regular travel and lodging will be expected as part of this role. You will be paid extra for the nights you are lodging.

Company van and fuel card provided with this role.

  • Supervising package plant installation work, comprising of chemical dosing packages, pump skids access steelwork and more ensuring work is on schedule and within budget.
  • Ensure team are carrying out installation works on site as instructed and in line with RAMS and project programmes.
  • To be responsible for full compliance of the site teams at all times.
  • To be responsible for the safe, cost-effective delivery of mechanical & electrical installations.
  • Proactively minimising impact on and protection of the environment
  • Report all positive interventions, accidents, incidents and near misses.
  • Ensure all waste is handled in line with legislation.
  • Management of staff and subcontractors working on site.
  • Support site based decisions, both large and small, in such a way that risk is controlled and uncertainty minimized.


Requirements

Required

  • Experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Supervisor (essential)
  • SSSTS / SMSTS (essential)
  • Relevant vocational qualification (or similar) (essential)
  • CSCS & CCNSG (or similar)
  • Experience within water / construction industry
  • Industrial and/or panel wiring experience (desirable)
  • Good client engagement and communication skills
  • Able to manage own and others workload with minimal assistance from Production Management in delivering safe profitable projects in line with programme requirements
  • Experienced in site managing Mechanical or Electrical projects
  • Ability to give and take instruction
  • Full UK driving license
