Full Job Description

Whisper is a leading global production company, specialising in high-end sports production, unscripted entertainment, branded content, and factual television. The company is a six-times Broadcast Best Places to Work (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023) and this is an exciting opportunity to join the team.

We are looking for a Production Manager and Production Coordinator who are available for an immediate start with branded and / or commercial experience to join Whisper Create, our in-house Branded team to work on an exciting new project. The roles would suit somebody who has experience of working on international projects, work well under pressure and is able to adapt quickly to changing requirements.

Location: The role will be based in our Kew office with international travel, including the Middle East.


Working Days: This role will require a degree of flexibility and weekend working. You will be expected to work with the team to plan a schedule based on production requirement. Lieu days will be given for any days worked over a five-day week. Whisper offer the option of flexitime hours subject to production requirements.

Contract length: Start asap for 6 months

Production Manager

  • Providing direct support to the Line Producer and production management colleagues, assisting with the communication of key production information to Producers and clients
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and detailed budgets; reporting any budgetary issues via cost managers
  • Overseeing the delivery of complex call sheets with accurate and detailed movement orders
  • Understanding and distributing accurate client requirements to ensure that all deliverables are completed in a timely manner, in order to fulfil the brief
  • Managing shoots (including overseas), booking crews and travel arrangements
  • Writing risk assessments for complex, international shoots
  • Managing complex and multiple post production requirements (including edit schedules and client approvals process) and delivery specifications
  • Implementing and promoting equality and diversity in the team and adhering to Health and Safety and GDPR policies
  • At least one years experience as a Production Manager with previous experience in Branded and / or commercials
  • Experience in managing multiple deliverables for high profile commercial clients
  • The ability to plan and budget complex shoots; You must have a strong background budgeting shoots from simple single day UK-based productions to week long international shoots with multiple units

Production Coordinator

  • Providing direct support to the Production Management team, assisting with the communication of key production information to Producers and the editorial team
  • Coordinating shoots (including overseas) and booking crews and travel arrangements
  • Producing complex call sheets with accurate and detailed movement orders
  • Maintaining accurate financial records of production spend
  • Coordinating post production requirements (including edit schedules and client approvals process) and delivery specifications for multiple projects
  • At least 1 years’ experience working in production as a Production Co-ordinator
  • Experience of working on multiple projects, including setting up filming overseas
