Production Manager

Location: Invergordon, Scotland

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Invergordon. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of skilled workers, optimizing production processes, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Production Leadership: Lead and manage the production team to achieve production targets and quality standards.
2.Process Optimization: Continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
3.Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations.
4.Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among production staff.
5.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished products.
6.Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to production staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
7.Budget Management: Develop and manage the production budget to ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications:
1.Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
2.Proven experience in production management within the manufacturing industry, preferably in timber products.
3.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
4.Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement.
5.Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
6.Proficiency in inventory management and budgeting.
7.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
