Full Job Description
Are you a data enthusiast who wants to further their career in the
world of manufacturing? We are working with a large manufacturing
business in the Selby/Goole area who have their customers' health and
happiness at the forefront of everything they do.
Following
an exciting implementation of the ERP system, "IFS", they are looking
for an astute Production Planner who is particularly good with systems
and Excel.
The role is an evolving one, in which you will
pull together plans in Excel using the data in the IFS system, work
with relevant key stakeholders to report trends and anomalies in the
data and be instrumental in making necessary improvements to
processes.
Paying up to £32,000 per annum. 5 days on site
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE PRODUCTION PLANNING EXPERIENCE!
However, the below attributes are what we're looking for:
- Experience within high volume/high variant manufacturing is highly desirable
- Previous experience with ERP systems, ideally IFS (if not SAP. D365, Oracle etc experience is acceptable)
- Proven experience of working with high volume, complex data, and manipulating this to produce reports in Excel
- Must be technically strong on Excel, with proficient and confident use of Vlookups, Ifs, Sums, pivot tables, etc
- Happy and interested in working with data
- Good interpersonal skills and a confident communicator as you'll be conversing with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience as Production Planner or Planning Co-Ordinator is desirable
