Full Job Description

Working within the Production Planning Team, you will be responsible for the fair and efficient rostering of Sky Sports’ staff. The role will see you working as part of a team creating balanced rotas to ensure all productions are staffed, while engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders. This position will be an initial 12-month FTC.

What you'll do:
  • Build and maintain rotas to help staff Sky Sports’ production requirements. Manage demand and/or booking conflicts through to resolution.
  • Ensure that the right skills are always in the right place, proactively planning for peaks and troughs of activity as well as being adaptable to business pressures.
  • Maintain consistent communication with key stakeholders throughout the rota building process.
  • Review staffing levels regularly with management to enable efficient deployment.
  • Book freelance help when required, processing all invoices to ensure prompt and correct payment.
  • Manage the rostering of all non-production activity such as leave, meetings etc.
  • Ensure our rostering tool (PlanIt) is always kept up to date to maintain the accuracy and integrity of all data.
  • Help to maintain a culture of "plan-do-review" within the team, continually challenging and questioning the effectiveness and efficiency of rosters.
  • Adhere to business processes and guidelines, acting with integrity and in the best interests of the company in a safe, compliant and ethical manner.

  • Willingness to learn and become an expert in our rostering system (PlanIt).
  • Knowledge of and passion for sport.
  • Knowledge of production types is desirable.
  • The ability to demonstrate and be part of an inclusive and diverse team.
