As the Production Planning & Master Data Specialist you will be responsible for the daily production planning tasks such as the machine schedules and supporting the production planning department, as well as managing and maintaining critical master data within the organisation, particularly in the context of production planning and manufacturing processes whilst focusing on enhancing planning processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows and to implement improvements to optimise planning operations.
  • Develop, update, and optimise production schedules for all production machines based on the demand forecasts, resource availability and capacity constraints.
  • Lead efforts in inventory management, implementing strategies to minimise carrying costs while ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing guidance and assist in aligning production plans with sales targets, customer orders and inventory objectives.
  • Develop reports and be the owner of S&OP and the production planning KPI dashboard, to aid in decision-making and performance measurement.
  • Establish, manage and control a process to track down the order fulfilment lead times, which encompasses from order entry to order planning date confirmation.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in production planning or an equivalent qualification. (Such as Mathematics, Engineering or Statistics) or experience in roles including master data and/or data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning processes, including BOMs, routing, and material master data.
  • Desirable to have experience with Quintiq Software systems.
  • Ideally qualified in APICS, CIPS or CILT Certified

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 36.25 hour week - Flexitime

Salary Range: 36,000 to 41,000 per annum
