Production Quality Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 12 to 24 Months
Shift: Late Shift – Monday to Friday
 
Must hold SC Clearance
 
About the opportunity
 
We are looking for an experienced Production Quality Engineer with experience in Aircraft Production and / or Maintenance environment for fixed wing Military or Civil Aircraft (preferably both).
 
You will have good knowledge of Production Quality skills such as QA Inspections, Material Review Board (MRB) and Design Oversight.
 
Deliverables

• Ensure verification of Production Quality conformity to customer design by participating in Quality Reviews
• Develop Quality Assurance strategies, plans and tests for Hardware and Software Products
• Ensure customer requirements are adhered to by reviewing and auditing Production Quality processes, validating Work Instructions, Tooling Requirements and Certifications

Person Requirements

• Production / Maintenance / Modification experience in Aircraft Quality
• Part 21 experience
• Aviation Safety Policy and Safety Management knowledge
• Qualified Quality Auditor

Desirables

• First Article Inspection
• MAA/CAA/EASA Part 145M knowledge
