Production Team Leader 
£32,000 - £36,000 Per Annum
Magna Park, Lutterworth, LE17

We have an exciting new opportunity for someone experienced in leading a team within a production environment.

The role involves motivating and coaching a team or production/repair operatives to meet production deadlines.

The role involved planning and scheduling of works in a fast-paced repair centre/production line environment.

You will be forward-thinking and able to react effectively to changes to ensure deadlines are met.

We are looking for a methodical thinker who understands time management within production.

As you are working with tech products we are looking for someone technically minded and we welcome applicants from the tech production and automotive component industries or anyone with strong production knowledge.

You will ne responsible for ensuring your team is coached and supported and you will look after absence and performance and reporting end of day production data to senior management.

Duties:

  • Leading a team of repair technicians who are diagnosing, repairing and testing electronics.
  • Ensuring the weekly and daily production schedules are planned and delivered effectively.
  • Continually evaluating and improving the planning and processes on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Drive the team to reach goals and support and coach for best possible outcomes
  • Create and maintain a positive team culture, encouraging involvement from all the team members and recognising achievements
  • Provide end of day production line analysis and report this directly to the senior management team
  • Proactively use problem solving techniques to meet future and current team targets
  • Use Method Time Measurement (MTM) or similar methodology in your production processes

 

Requirements:

  • Experience of planning and scheduling production.
  • Previous experience of managing and leading team in a production environment
  • Must be a logical thinker who can interpret data and be proactive on acting on it
  • GSX, WMS and SAP experience would be advantageous
  • Able to prioritise workloads
  • Be able to react to change quickly and effectively for best possible outcomes
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Proven experience of adapting and leading programmes of change
  • Excellent communication skills

Working Hours :

 Monday to Friday

06:00am – 14:30pm or 13:00pm – 21:00pm

Flexibility around business requirements is necessary.
