What you’ll be doing:

Our customers come to us because they know we’ll deliver what we promise. The show can’t happen without us.  You’ll be at the heart of our operation making exceptional automation equipment that allows venues to be outstanding and audiences to be amazed. 

How you’ll do it

  • You’ll use technical drawings to assemble the mechanical and electrical aspects of our electrical control equipment
  • You’ll be building cable assemblies and manufacturing basic printed circuit boards
  • You’ll be carrying out electro-mechanical assembly work, following detailed in house procedures
  • You’ll assist the Stores team with the packing of products ready for shipping to customers
  • You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy and safe workshop area and ensuring that your tools and equipment are in good working condition and stored safely in the right place
  • You’ll be assisting the Testing team, when required, with testing, calibrating and inspecting various products. You’ll do this by following and completing written test instruction sheets
  • You’ll assist the Stores team with the packing of customer orders ready for shipping
  • You’ll adhere to the Company’s health and safety rules and guideline and make the Production Management team aware of any hazards you identify in a timely manner
  • You’ll identify any problems or errors you encounter in the manufacturing of products to help make improvements and minimise errors in future

Your experience and knowledge:

  • You’ve got experience with electrical & mechanical assembly, wire termination, crimping, and terminals
  • You’ve got experience in following detailed instructions and can use common testing equipment including multimeters, earth impedance testers and RCD testers
  • You’ve got experience with soldering, mainly through hole or connector terminals as well as SMD
  • You’ve got experience of working in a health and safety critical environment and have a basic understanding of best practice health and safety precautions
