An established and fast-growing sub-sea technology company based in Hampshire is looking to expand its Production Team.  As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the set up and operation of production equipment. The responsibilities of the Production Technician will include:  

• Monitoring processes ensuring to keep an accurate record of the manufacturing process.
• Being compliant with health and safety.  
• Participating in 5S methodology.
• Maintaining a high level of relevant standard operating procedures ensuring they are consistently followed.
• Participating in continuous improvement activities.

Requirements for the Production Technician is:   

• Will have knowledge around following SOP’s and reading engineering drawings.
• Have relevant knowledge of risk assessments and be able to identify improvements and changes to benefit the company.
• Skilled in using production workshop equipment, handheld, fixed cutting machinery including band and circular saws, grinders, sanders etc.
• Knowledge of composite materials within a production environment would be beneficial.
• Experience of automated production and/or low volume/high value products would be beneficial.
