Automotive ProgramManager: Lead Exciting Global Projects
Arden White is seeking an experienced Automotive
ProgramManager to lead dynamic teams across multiple projects for our
esteemed global automotive client.
Your
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Crafting precise quotes for prototype and production processes, setting the stage for success.
- Leading team feasibility commitments and risk assessments, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Managing program budgets and timelines with precision and efficiency.
- Providing ongoing design input to ensure manufacturing feasibility and meet customer requirements.
- Conducting new program testing, both internally and externally, to guarantee quality.
- Overseeing the kick-off and approval of new or modified tooling and gauges, ensuring excellence in execution.
- Participating in sourcing and negotiations of assembly and tooling contracts, ensuring optimal terms.
- Coordinating the approval of tooling and line equipment for seamless payment processes.
- Arranging and authorizing packaging development to enhance product presentation.
- Conducting program milestone reviews and ensuring process sign-off.
- Interface with the Quality Department to oversee PPAP preparation and ensure compliance.
- Initiating and coordinating all new program releases and engineering changes for continuous improvement.
- Implementing containment measures for new processes and parts, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Completing production Layer Process Audits to guarantee operational excellence.
- Utilizing DFMEA, PMFEA, DVP&R, FEA, and other processes to ensure robust design review.
- Actively driving Value Added/Value Engineering (VA/VE) activities and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensuring accountabilities for all deliverables, maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
Requirements for Consideration:
- Engineering degree, diploma, or equivalent experience/background.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in automotive manufacturing programme management.
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings and Standards, with GD&T knowledge preferred.
- Understanding of IATF16949 standards.
