SF Recruitment are pleased to be working in exclusive partnership with a leading global manufacturer with sites across the country and worldwide, headquartered in South Derbyshire.
A US owned business, they have a $multi-billion turnover, a strong finance team and attractive benefits (including hybrid working and an early Friday finish!).
About the role
Due to the closure of another site in the UK, my client are looking to bring in a strong project analyst/accountant to complement a dedicated close-down team for a period of approximately 14-18 months (dependant on start date). There will be the opportunity to get involved with wider projects within the organisation where workload allows.
Overall
responsibilities include:
1 All aspects of Contracts.
2
Accuracy of BOM's on system
3 Analyse variances between actual and
standard based on Project Quotes.
4 Produce month end reports for
Business and Group.
Detail tasks inlcude:
1 Revenue
recognition, Invoicing and Credit Control. Working with Project and
Commercial Managers from Quote stage to Completion. Maintaining files
with all signed documents for Audit reviews.
2 Profitability
analysis on all projects and preparation of Decks for Group Review.
Working with Finance, Projects and Commercial for review with
Directors and presentation to Group.
3 Review and correct/update
all BOM's and Routings. Working with Engineering and Project teams to
ensure accuracy of information. Reviewing original quotes to actual
BOM's and updating where necessary.
4 Ensure accurate update of
Inventory based on revrec updates has been carried out. Liaising with
Operational and Logistical team to ensure timely and accurate
processing of information. Working alongside Systems and Costing Admin
to review system processing.
5 Supporting Period, Quarter and Year
End processes with Financial Accountant.
6 Be able to cover for
Financial Accountant in absence, and support year end Audits
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will benefit from a handover with the existing incumbent and be supported by the Financial Controller and dedicated Financial Accountant.
