Placing Leaders are recruiting on behalf of our client who are
based close to Cambridge for a Project Co-Ordinator / Internal Project
Manager. We are seeking someone with experience working within the
construction industry and with excellent communication and customer
service skills.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible
for professional management and fulfilment of orders for windows and
doors for commercial projects (mainly new build projects, and
periodically renovation projects). The customer base is main
contractors operating in the commercial construction market. The key
responsibility of the Project Coordinator is to ensure that orders are
professionally fulfilled by meeting the expectations of the customer
to ensure repeat business where relevant, manage the contractual risk
to our business and get paid on time.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT:
The Project
Coordinator will gain good project all round project management
skills, plus the opportunity to coach and train less experienced
staff. Progression route could be into project management of larger
and more complex projects, contracts management, design, or other
associated specialist or management roles in our value stream.
We are seeking someone that has:
2-3 years in a commercial
construction project related discipline eg. Estimating, planning,
co-ordination, surveying
Exposure to contracting in the
construction industry
Familiarity with construction process and
documentation
The ideal candidate would have:
Experience in
the façade/fenestration/curtain walling business
2-3 years
experience with a main contractor or envelope contractor
Project
planning experience
Commercial experience within a sales
organisation
SALARY LEVEL:
Basic Salary
Annual bonus of
up to £2,500 per annum (company performance related)
25 days'
