Project Engineer, Permanent position located near Honiton free parking and great Company benefits.

As the Project Engineer you will ensure the smooth running of the Engineering & Manufacturing department by co-ordinating Operations to ensure that projects are completed on time.

Some of the main duties for the Project Engineer  role will be:

• To be able to translate the Customers’ requirements to deliverable engineering tasks. Working alongside with the Project manager you will take the plan through to production.
• Working closely with Design Engineers and build teams to draw, plan and deliver a manufactured product to the customer. Design work, checking a fault finding drawings along with practical testing of parts and systems will be a daily event.
• To be flexible and adaptive to manage the design team to a shared and understood version of the customers’ requirements. This will be done in line with quality and assurance standards and supported by senior Project and principal Engineers.
• Will have a high level of automotive engineering understanding, across all aspects of the design and build. From the first concept drawing to final testing and hand over to the Customer you will be involved.

• Excellent interpersonal relationship-building abilities and influence internally to the Group and with external agencies.

As the Project Engineer will organise your workload to ensure all projects are progressed and prioritised as necessary working with great attention to detail and accuracy using Microsoft Office packages and Engineering software.
