Project Engineering Lead

Full Job Description

We are looking for a Project Engineering Lead with experience across the full life-cycle. This is a ‘hands off’ role, so very much focused on the management aspects. However, an understanding of the technology, and experience leading teams creating complex products is required.

The ideal Project Engineering Lead must have the following:

• Previous experience running multi-function Engineering teams and have been responsible for the delivery of engineering artefacts
• A sound understanding of complex system design , and the processes required to achieve project success
• Experience of project/engineering planning, as well engineering management plan creation or similar
• Previous experience developing products and designing to safety standards
• SC Clearance

Beneficial:

• Experience with DO-178C and DO-254
• Understanding or working examples of EW systems development
• A Software or Firmware background

This role is a 12 month initial contract with a high likelihood of extension.

4 days a week on site, possibility of condensing hours to a 4 day week.
