Job Title: Project Manager - Facilities Management

Position Overview: Theyare seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in facilities management to join theirteam in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing facility projects within the Peterborough region, ensuring successful execution from initiation to completion. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of facility management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage facility projects within the Peterborough region, from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and oversee their implementation to ensure successful project execution.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and facilitate smooth project progression.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely resolution and project success.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess project status, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, motivating team members to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality results.
  • Continuously evaluate project performance and processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experiencein project management within the facilities management industry, with a strong track record of successfully managing complex projects from conception to completion.
  • Solid understanding of facility management principles, practices, and regulations, with specific expertise in areas such as maintenance, renovation, and construction.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar applications.
