Full Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager - Defence

Location: Bedfordshire

Salary: up to 60,000 (depending on experience)

As a Project Manager in a Defence Programmes team, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and supporting projects related to military vehicle validation, testing, and support for UK MoD and OE manufacturers. Operating within the unique test facilities, you'll oversee a range of projects, from short-term initiatives to multi-year programmes with high stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead project teams, ensuring timely delivery of results.
  • Manage project budgets and track progress using MS Project.
  • Implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve business operations and processes.
Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:
  • Proven experience in project management within engineering projects.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Project.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Recognized project management qualification (PRINCE2, APM, etc.) desirable.
  • High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and proactive attitude.
