Morson are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to be based
in the Torness area on a permanent basis.
We are seeking an
experienced Project Manager to support their esteemed client, in
managing their operations in the UK. The role offers flexibility in
work arrangements, allowing a blend of office and remote work, yet
primarily situated on site. Key responsibilities encompass:
Taking accountability for the successful execution of assigned
projects under the guidance of the client PPM.
Defining the
project execution strategy in alignment with the client PPMs
objectives and leading a cross-functional project team to ensure safe
project delivery adhering to company policies and procedures.
We seek individuals with a proven track record in regulated
environments emphasising high safety standards and culture. Strong
communication, organizational skills, and the ability to foster
relationships, maintain networks, and prioritize results within a
team-oriented approach are essential traits.
Qualifications
required:
A degree in engineering or a related field,
preferably with Chartership.
Formal project management
qualification (e.g., APMP) or equivalent, well-versed in modern
project management techniques within complex organizations.
Comprehensive understanding of engineering, design, procurement,
safety protocols, construction, installation/commissioning management,
and commercial contracting.
Proficiency in Safety Cases, Health
and Safety legislation including CDM compliance, quality assurance,
and control methodologies.
Proven experience managing projects
across diverse disciplines, integrated team management, estimating,
cost control, planning, and commercial acumen.
Although
experience within the Energy sector is advantageous, its not
mandatory.
