Job Title:              Project Quality Control Engineer
Location:              Warrington, Cheshire
Compensation:  £45,000-£50,000 + Benefits

The role
As a Project Quality Control Engineer you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring that activities (planning, audits, reviews, assessments) are undertaken to establish the implementation and performance status monitoring of the necessary quality arrangements and the reporting of such information.


Day to day, you’ll provide detailed quality assurance support to the project including developing and implementing quality arrangements across all delivery activities: 

  • Provide support to the Senior Quality Manager in delivering the projects quality strategy in coordination with the suppliers and delivery partners. 
  • Provide advice and support to the business on all aspects of quality, including the production and delivery of quality planning and control documentation,  ensuring appropriate quality levels are allocated to control of work activities.
  • Provide support to the reviewing of findings from independent assurance activities.
  • Ensure any supply chain quality non-conformances (NCRs) are managed and closed out in a timely manner and support the implementation of necessary correction and corrective actions to remedy any non-conformity found and to avoid recurrence.
  • Ensure Supplier and partner manufacturing quality arrangements are reviewed and approved / accepted in accordance with project requirements, including Customer approvals.
  • Support the production and review of internal and supplier Inspection and Test Plans for Manufacturing, Installation, and Commissioning activities.

This role is a full time permanent position and will be based at our Warrington office.

Essential experience of the Project Quality Control Engineer:

  • Sufficient manufacturing experience in automotive, nuclear, or any highly regulated industry 
  • Experience gained in the mechanical industry


Qualifications for the Project Quality Control Engineer:

  • HNC in an engineering discipline (desirable) 

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
