Are you an experienced Project Quantity who is looking for a new role with one of the leading Contractors in the North West?

This is a great opportunity to join an established main contractor who have a healthy pipeline of work for the future. The company work across a variety of sectors on large scale new build and refurbishment projects valued anywhere between 10m - 100m.

The Role - Project Quantity Surveyor

As a Project Quantity Surveyor you will be working on a large 50m new build hotel and fit out project in Stockport. You will be reporting into the Senior QS & Commercial Manager and will be responsible for following duties:

• Preparation of bills and/or schedules for quantities of materials, labour and services required in the construction and refurbishment of building works in relation to both Estimating and Post contract duties.
• Cost reporting.
• Preparation and valuation of progress and submission to client.
• Sub-contract procurement including sending out enquiries, collating prices, negotiation, order placement.
• Sub-contract valuations and payments in connection with any contract.

Required skills/knowledge:

• A degree/equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
• Have a strong main contracting background.
• At least 2-5 years post graduate experience.
