We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Housing Needs Team as a Projects Team Leader (with focus on Sizewell C)

Your role

You will support the Strategic Lead in providing a comprehensive Housing Needs Service to residents in East Suffolk.

This role will focus on project management with a focus on Sizewell C. Sizewell C is a major infrastructure project that will involve the influx of a considerable workforce over the next 9 – 10 years. The impact on local housing will be considerable and work has begun to identify how to expand the number of bed spaces in East Suffolk to accommodate this challenge and to support local residents who’s housing options will be impacted by the construction project. 

What you will need

  • At least 3 years’ experience of working in the housing needs / homelessness sector along with experience of working within the public.
  • The knowledge of understanding systems of allocating social housing, including Choice Based Lettings.
