ProposalEngineer - Water Industry
A growing and dynamic MEICA contractor working primarily in providing water treatment and fluid handling solutions is looking for a Proposal Engineer to be based out of the Basingstoke office.
If you come from a MEICA background (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) and you have experience in estimating, tendering or proposals then this could be the perfect role for you!
Duties for ProposalEngineer
- Working closely within a bid team and being responsible for the preparation of the analytical estimates
- Review cost estimates and customer specifications to ensure all requirements have been met in the estimate.
- Preparation of Tender Cost Reports.
- Tender site visits to fully establish the Scope of Works and specific site requirements.
- Contribute to the submission document preparation
- Ensure all proposal documents are well presented.
- Comparison of costings from previous projects.
Qualifications/Experience for ProposalEngineer
- Degree/HND in an engineering discipline
- Experience working within water or similar process-driven environment
- Knowledge of NEC 3 & 4 conditions of contract
- Eligible to work in the UK
