Prospero Teaching is seeking Graduates to support within SEN environments across Lancashire in the next academic year. This is a perfect opportunities for those who are looking to go on to do a PGCE or who wish to gain experience in Education Psychology following their undergraduate degree.

The ideal candidate:

• Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis OR/ experience of supporting those with complex needs in a care setting
• Those who obtain a qualification within Care/SEN
• Strong teamwork ethic
• Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career in education and special needs

The role will consist of:

• Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN and complex needs
• Personal care
• Creating a safe environment
• Managing and diffusing challenging behaviour

• LOCATION - Burnley, BB10
• POSITION - Special Needs Teaching Assistant
• CONTRACT TYPE - Temporary - Permanent
• MINIMUM DAILY RATE - 94
• HOURS - Full time Monday - Friday 08:30-15:30 term-time only
• START DATE - 03/09/2024
