Prospero Teaching is seeking Gradutes to support within SEN environments across Stockport next academic year. This is a perfect opportunities for those who are looking to go on to do a PGCE or who wish to gain experience in Education Psychology following their undergraduate degree.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis OR/ experience of supporting those with complex needs in a care setting
- Those who obtain a qualification within Care/SEN
- Strong teamwork ethic
- Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career in education and special needs
The role will consist of:
- Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN and complex needs
- Personal care
- Creating a safe environment
- Managing and diffusing challenging behaviour
Position Details
- LOCATION - Cheadle, Hulme (SK8)
- POSITION - Special Needs Teaching Assistant
- CONTRACT TYPE - Temporary - Permanent
- MINIMUM DAILY RATE - 95
- HOURS - Full time Monday - Friday 08:30-15:30 term-time only
- START DATE - 03/09/2024
