Psychology Lecturer

Location:  Halesowen
Hours:  Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £25,873 - £41,684


Think FE are proud to be working with a college in Halesowen who are looking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Psychology teacher to join a dynamic and supportive team. The college is committed to delivering high-quality education and enhancing their learners' experience, so they’re seeking a proactive professional who is eager to inspire and shape the minds of our students.


Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons for A-level and Applied Psychology
• Creating and providing resources to aid in student learning.
• Assessing, monitoring, supporting, and providing feedback on students' work to ensure progress.
• Participating in curriculum development and departmental activities.
• Adapting to varying class sizes (typically between 20-30 students).

   

Essential Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE or CertEd. We also welcome other teaching qualifications.
• A Degree in Psychology or a related subject
• Prior teaching experience, and an in-depth knowledge of Psychology (ideally at A-Level specifically)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Upon offer and prior to commencement of employment you will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
