As a Purchasing Assistant you will be excited and proud to be working for a unique and well established family owned business supporting the business and its owner. You will have a love of figures and strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
Your key responsibilities will be :
Working closely and assisting the Purchasing Co-ordinator with purchasing and any associated admin tasks such as matching goods received and invoices, printing and distribution of the new purchase orders, reviewing existing orders and chasing suppliers accordingly. Monitoring the costing email box and processing costings using Paradox software. 50% of the role is dealing with the costing and entering of the data so good numeracy is important.
Required skills:
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
- A least 2 years experience in an Administrative role.
- Attention to detail and a love of working with numbers
