About the role

 

NCFE is committed to developing our colleagues through our  Vision for our People   and so we’re excited to be able to offer an apprenticeship opportunity, allowing you to work within our  External Quality Assurance   team whilst studying towards a  Business Administration qualification.

 

You’ll support the team in delivering a first-rate customer experience, providing timely and effective administrative support across the External Quality Assurance team.

 

Duties include allocating External Quality Assurers, processing new centre and additional product applications, supporting with data cleanse activities, and supporting our national training events.  

 

Your apprenticeship training will take place over  18 months   and will include both on and off the job learning. In a typical week you’ll spend 20% of your time on off-the-job training which can include shadowing, online learning, and self-directed learning. You’ll also receive support from a mentor who will monitor your training progress.

 

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Processing centre application forms and answer queries
  • Allocating our sector experts to customers to carry out monitoring reviews
  • Organising internal and external events, coordinate team activities including meetings, appointments
  • Supporting the EQA team to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, manage and minimise risk and escalate potential breaches in a timely manager, identifying improvements/efficiency opportunities
  • Maintaining knowledge and understanding of relevant EQA processes and systems, to fully understand end to end customer experience and impact of work

 

We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written including excellent grammar and spelling
  • Experienced in using various office applications and software such as Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams access databases along with some specialist software and be able to demonstrate excellent word processing and data entry skills
  • Working to tight deadlines and be able to manage own workload
  • Strong organisational skills, be able to prioritise and maintain a high standard of accuracy
  • A commitment to effectively managing your time between working and studying
