TSA Surveying are actively representing a consultant who are looking to appoint a technical and experienced individual to act as a Quality Control Inspector within their Quality Assurance team.

Our client’s skilled interdisciplinary team offers a comprehensive range of construction consultancy services across a wide range of sectors: housing, education, health, care, blue light, commercial, and regeneration and mixed use.

Ensuring quality is at the heart of our consultant’s strategy and organizational values. They prioritize exceeding customer expectations and are dedicated to advancing quality standards in the construction industry. They have continuously evolved their Clerk of Works services but in recent years they have taken a renewed and innovative approach to Quality Control. They possess a team of experienced inspectors, from a variety of backgrounds within construction, to work collaboratively and collectively with their clients, contractors, and construction teams to drive the quality agenda, share knowledge and develop understanding.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Assessing and ensuring the quality of building materials through measurement and quality checks.
  • Monitoring project progress and providing reports to construction managers, architects, and clients.
  • Facilitating communication between contractors, engineers, and surveyors.
  • Compiling detailed written reports.
  • Conducting regular on-site inspections of work, materials, and products, comparing completed tasks with drawings and contract specifications.
  • Verifying compliance with building regulations, health and safety standards, legal obligations, and ecological requirements.
