Used to a fast-paced food manufacturing environment? Used to over-seeing others' or keen to do so? In need of a new challenge? This role is in a food packaging environment working Monday-Friday 2-10pm with the potential need to stay on paid - depending on workload. As a supervisor you will work with and lead a team to ensure that production runs smoothly and to the quality expected.

Sample duties involved with the Quality Control Teamleader role:

• Lead your team to ensure that all aspects of Health & Safety, quality, quantity, and costs are met
• Ensure that production records are signed off
• Raise any operational problems with the Production Manager
• Work closely with the shift QC/QA to ensure that all quality standards are met
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that all issues are dealt with in a timely manner
• Cleaning of production facilities will also be part of the role
• Maintain staffing levels and development through training to ensure a multi-skilled team
• Work to improve efficiency levels and minimise wastage
• Help to deliver the site KPI's

Skills & Experience:

• Highly motivated and keen to grow with the business
• Excellent people/communication skills, able to converse at all levels
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Food Handling training
• Hands on with a practical approach
• Good decision-making skills happy to deputise for the Production Manager
• Working knowledge of BRC Std v8
• Very Quality focused with critical attention to detail
• Forklift licence ideal
• Full driving licence is essential due to location
