Quality Inspector

Our clients based near Havant have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join their growing team.

The Quality Inspector will ensure the product is moving through the factory to specified drawings and leaves in perfect condition to customer requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure received products conform to specification by carrying out visual and dimensional checks, and communicate changes and/or issues.
• Verify manufactured parts meet company and customer quality requirements prior to dispatch.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and distributed accordingly.
• Ensure that all quality procedures have been followed.
• Ensure handheld measuring equipment such as calipers and verniers are in good working order.
• Assist with root cause analysis and problem solving activities.
• Complete FAIRS in line with customer requests and company procedures.
• Lease with suppliers on part issues.
• Work closely with the QHS Manager to implement a quality culture that represents the companies policies and goals.

Required skills & experience:

• Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• Experience using a variety of handheld measuring instruments.
• Experience working to ISO9001
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment

7:30 - 4:30 - Mon - Thurs

7:30 - 12:30 Friday
