Full Job Description

We are recruiting a Quality Supervisor for our client, a global market leader in the metal industry.
Based in Bristol, the Quality Supervisor will have day to day responsibility for all aspects of Quality at the site.
The duties:
. Flow down the requirements of the company Quality Management System & AS9120 to all employees and advise on any relating queries
. Monitor and measure the output of key processes against defined targets to meet the expectations of internal & customer requirements
. Implement continuous improvement to improve production processes in conjunction with the Operations Management Team
. Provide support to the warehouse, sales and shipping department for quality related issues
. Ensure total adherence to Company Quality Manual and procedures
. Action Internal Quality Audits as directed by Group Quality Manager
. Arrange for all measuring equipment to be calibrated at specified intervals
. Follow Corrective Action (8D) Reports through to conclusion
. Ensure latest issues of Quality documentation are used
Skills and experience required:
. Familiar with ISO9001:2015 & ASQMS standards requirements
. Internal auditing
. Handling customer complaints & issues
. Producing quality reports
. Work well autonomously or within a team
. Understanding of measurements and tolerances
. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
. Excellent analytical & organisational skills
. Strong mathematical & IT skills
. Strong customer relationship skills
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have the following:
. Six Sigma Green belt qualified
. Internal Auditor to ISO 9001/AS9120
. Some technical understanding of Aerospace metals
. Experience in a quality related position
. Experience of using quality tools such as 5 why, FMEA
