Full Job Description

Activus Recruitment are seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor based in Oldmeldrum for a full-time, permanent position with our client, a well established Civils and Construction Company.
The Role:
* Preparation of Interim Valuations
* Final Account negotiations and settlement
* Cost Valuation Reporting
* Identify and pricing variations
* Carry out site visits on a regular basis
* Preparation of material requisitions
* Liaise with clients and attend client meetings
* Analysis of project costs
* Managing subcontractor appointment and valuations
Personal Requirements
* Excellent eye for detail and a comprehensive approach.
* You will be highly experienced in reading and accurately interpreting drawings and technical specifications.
* Excellent communication skills
* Highly motivated and organised individual
* Experience of various construction methods
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Excellent understanding of commercial issues.
* Competent in the use of computer packages
