Quantity Surveyor - Groundworks

Full Job Description

Location: Watford.

Office & Site based role.

Salary: Up to 65K.

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team, you will need to be driven, organised and an excellent communicator.

This will be an office-based position working from our office based in Watford.

We can consider candidates from all backgrounds with varying experience as full training and support will be provided.

As a Quantity Surveyor you will:

Preparing and overseeing project budget/cost plans - ensure Gross Profit target is achieved across all projects.

Establishing relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and the wider team

Attending client meetings, providing feedback on project throughout.

Review quotations and ensuring they are cost effective and competitive whilst liaising with the estimating team.

Creating scopes to help with sub-contractor requirements.

Pricing and agreement of non-standard rates

Invoice processing

To be successful as a Quantity Surveyor you will need:

Experience in a similar role

An interest in the Retrofit industry

Good IT skills and competent in the use of MS Excel and Word

Understanding of construction contracts

Good oral and written communication skills
