Rain Cladding Estimator

Full Job Description

e are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Rainscreen division. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for rainscreen cladding and facade projects.

Responsibilities:

- Thoroughly review project drawings, specifications, and other contract documents to identify scope of work and material requirements.

- Conduct quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed material and labor cost estimates.

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to clarify project details and resolve any discrepancies.

- Maintain an extensive knowledge of rainscreen systems, cladding materials, installation methods, and industry pricing.

- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the most competitive pricing.

- Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals and pricing packages.

- Continuously update and maintain an estimating database and historical cost records.

- Conduct value engineering analysis to identify cost savings opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in the rainscreen/cladding industry.

- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with expertise in construction estimating software.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction best practices.
